This year was a monumental time for movies and if you don’t have a “Top Five” list coming out of 2018 I have to question what have you been watching these past 12 months?  From huge blockbusters (Black Panther, Incredibles 2, A Star Is Born, Avengers: Infinity War), gripping indies (Sorry To Bother You, Eighth Grade, Mid90s) and the start of new franchises (Crazy Rich Asians, To All The Boys I Loved Before, Spider-Man Into The Universe); diversity was essential to bringing all these stories to the big screen. The astronomical box office numbers prove representation wins.

Smaller studios like A24 and the continued takeover of streaming services like Netflix and Amazon Studios are giving major studios some competition and I can’t imagine how Hollywood will top this year in film. For Tech This Out’s “Year In Review” we had to share some of the biggest movies that dropped this year. Did your favorite movie make the cut? Are we missing a huge film? Let us know on Twitter or Facebook! Now let’s look back at some quality films:
